Gold Rummy

About Gold Rummy

Gold Rummy is a multi-game app with Rummy, Domino, Ludo and Dragon & Tiger in its published selection. Cards, numbered tiles and a board game are represented in that line-up, with different ways of organising a hand or developing a round.

Rummy uses playing cards, while Domino is played with numbered tiles. The rummy family is built around forming valid card combinations, often involving matching ranks or ordered runs. Domino tiles carry values on their ends and are used in several matching and hand-based game traditions. These are two different game families within Gold Rummy’s named range.

Ludo adds a dice-and-token board game. In its familiar traditional form, dice rolls determine the movement available to tokens as they progress around the board. Dragon & Tiger returns to playing cards with a comparison-based table game, completing the four clearly named entries in the Gold Rummy selection.

Ludo continues the board-game theme in IND Rummy and Love Rummy; their introductions also cover Pool and Carrom. Those profiles provide another route through the tabletop selections gathered on our All Rummy Apps page.
